UNIVERSITY ARENAS- ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE

The information contained in this guide highlights some of the features available at the Gordon Field House & Activities Center and the Gene Polisseni Center for guests with disabilities as set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessible Seating
Accessible and companion seating are available for each event (accessible seating locations are subject to change based on the seating configuration for various events). Please contact the University Arenas Box Office at (585) 475-4121 to order your tickets so that we can best accommodate your needs.


Drop-Off Location/Building Entrance
Gordon Field House: The accessible drop-off location is located on ground level at the northwest corner of the building near Lot D. For access during non-event hours, please press the call button, speak to the building staff, and they can grant you access.

Gene Polisseni Center: The accessible drop-off location is located on northwest side of the building near Gate 1.


Parking

Gordon Field House: Accessible parking spaces are available in the southeast corner of Lot D.

Gene Polisseni Center: Accessible parking spaces are available on the east side of the building of Lot U.


Elevator
Gordon Field House: An elevator is located just inside the entrance to the Student Life Center (SLC) from the Gordon Field House. During events where the entrance is closed off, a building staff member will assist guests with disabilities to the elevator. The elevator provides access from the ground/floor level to the mezzanine level.

Gene Polisseni Center: An elevator is located just inside the entrance near Gate 1 and Gate 3.


Restrooms
All public restrooms are equipped with accessible sinks, stalls, and amenities that are accessible to guests in wheelchairs.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD)
Assisted Listening Devices are free of charge and available for all events from the Box Office. For security purposes, a valid driver’s license or credit card is required and will be returned when the listening device(s) is returned to the Box Office.


American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters
All venues offer ASL interpretive services at most events for guests with hearing disabilities. For concerts and other ticketed events, guests are encouraged to contact the University Arenas Box Office at (585) 475-4121 to purchase tickets.


Service Animals
Service animals for guests with disabilities will be permitted inside the all venues. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.
